ST Engineering Antycip has delivered a Radiance Direct View LED display at the University of Liverpool.

The video wall solution was developed in collaboration with Professor Kay O’Halloran, co-director of the Digital Media & Society Institute (DMSI), University of Liverpool and Dr Simon Campion, specialist in VR and immersive environments of Digital Innovation Facility (DIF), University of Liverpool. It aimed at incorporating a multi-purpose display that could seamlessly run within an environment filled with natural and artificial light sources.

Researchers in DMSI and DIF sought Digital Projection’s Radiance LED display to showcase high definition 2D and 3D visualisations, geographically located data and immersive VR environments to develop, exchange and test ideas for innovative ways of viewing and interacting with complex datasets to facilitate interpretation.
