CymSTAR announced the launch of CymLITE-ATLAS XR, a scalable, deployable mixed-reality training ecosystem providing simulation across multiple missions, aircraft, and environments. The system includes modular training elements that can operate independently or connect within an interoperable network to support Air Mobility training requirements.

CymSTAR unveiled CymLITE-ATLAS XR during I/ITSEC. The ecosystem supports self-paced individual training and networked multi-crew scenarios for procedural and tactical operations including formation flying, aerial refueling, threat response, weather avoidance, and low-level navigation.

CymLITE-ATLAS XR is designed as a multi-mission training system for large-aircraft operations including tanker, transport, approach, and airdrop missions. System components include the Aircrew Trainer, providing mixed-reality training in a compact modular format; the Virtual Flight Deck Trainer, offering a digital environment for procedural and systems instruction; and the Flight Management System Trainer, a software-based platform for familiarization and proficiency development.

The platform is compatible with desktop, laptop, tablet, and virtual-reality devices for online or offline use, supporting training at home stations or deployed environments.

CymLITE-ATLAS XR builds on CymSTAR’s work as a prime contractor for U.S. Air Force training systems including the C-5, E-4B, and A-10, and participation on the C-130, KC-135, and KC-46 programs. The company was recently awarded the F-16 CymLITE-MCS Training System for the USAF Test Pilot School and continues to expand its suite of portable mixed-reality trainers within the CymLITE Series.
