Members of Team SkyAlyne, CAE, KF Aerospace, and the Royal Canadian Air Force visited aircraft production facilities in Germany and Switzerland in late March and early April to review progress on the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program.

The delegation toured facilities at Airbus, Grob, and Pilatus, where three FAcT aircraft fleets are currently in production. Visits included reviews of manufacturing processes, quality control, and program milestones at each site.

At Airbus in Donauwörth, Germany, the team reviewed production of the CT-153 Juno (Airbus H135) and observed a test flight of a recently manufactured aircraft. At Grob in Tussenhausen-Mattsies, Germany, the delegation toured manufacturing facilities for the CT-102B Astra II (Grob G 120TP) and discussed production status and delivery milestones. At Pilatus in Stans, Switzerland, the team reviewed production of the CT-157 Siskin II (Pilatus PC-21) and attended a fly-by demonstration of the aircraft.

Following the site visits, the team attended the Military Flight Training (MFT) Conference in Lucerne, Switzerland, where discussions covered current trends and challenges in military pilot training.
