Entrol has announced the development of an H135 FTD Level 3 helicopter simulator for the Royal Thai Air Force through its partner, RV Connex. The simulator’s final acceptance test is scheduled for December 2025 at Entrol’s Madrid facility, with delivery and installation in Thailand planned for early 2026.

The device will feature a detailed replica of the Airbus H135 T3H cockpit with Helionix avionics, designed to match the configuration used by the Royal Thai Air Force. It will include the Euronav 7 Digital Moving Map and GTN 750 Xi, with cockpit windows to enhance immersion. The simulator’s spherical visual system will provide a wide field of view and will include a visual database featuring key mission locations, detailed helipads, and terrain references.

Certified as FTD Level 3, the simulator will enable the Royal Thai Air Force to conduct diverse training missions that cannot be performed in the real aircraft. It will include a vibration system that simulates flight sensations, an enclosed Instructor Operating Station with six screens for monitoring and control, and a debriefing station for post-flight analysis.
