The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command has issued a solicitation under the NITE-STAR (National Space Test and Training Complex Innovative Technology & Engineering – Space Test and Range) programme, seeking contractors to develop advanced capabilities for the National Space Test and Training Complex through a potential 10-year, $981 million contract vehicle.

The multiple-award IDIQ contract will support space test and training infrastructure, covering ranges, satellites, ground systems, and digital environments. On the hardware side, contractors will design, build, and deliver satellites, spacecraft payloads, ground stations, sensors, telescopes, and command-and-control systems. The contract carries a five-year base period with a single five-year option, and Space Force expects to award positions by 1 July 2026.

Qualified organisations interested in submitting a proposal have until 12:00 MDT on 17 April 2026 to do so. Submissions must be made electronically via DoD SAFE, and offerors should email SSC.TIK.NITESTAR@spaceforce.mil to request a drop-off link.

Pre-proposal conference slides and recordings are available on SAM.gov for those looking to get up to speed before submitting.

Questions about the solicitation must be submitted using the official Q&A template to the contracting team at the same email address above.
