BECOME A SPEAKER at EATS 2025

5-6 November, 2025

Estoril Congress Centre, Cascais, Portugal

Submission Deadline: Tuesday 1st July 2025

"Training Today: Good, Adequate, or Needs Improvement?"

Halldale Group has opened the official Call for Papers for the 23rd European Aviation Training Summit (EATS 2025), set to convene industry and airline experts in a collaborative effort to advance safety and best practices in pilot, cabin crew, and maintenance technician training.

Under the overarching theme, "Training Today: Good, Adequate, or Needs Improvement?", EATS 2025 invites aviation professionals to contribute their insights and expertise. This pivotal event offers a unique platform for airlines, Approved Training Organisations (ATOs), manufacturers, and regulators to engage in critical discussions that will shape the future of aviation education and operational readiness.

Halldale is actively seeking compelling presentation abstracts across four core conference streams:

  • Pilot Training
  • Cabin Crew Training
  • Maintenance Technician Training
  • ATO (Ab Initio) Training

Prospective speakers are encouraged to submit proposals that address key aspects of aviation training and education within categories such as airline stability and growth, training the next generation (including EBT/CBTA/AQP and instructor standardisation), technology enablers (AR/VR/XR, AI, Big Data), human factors, environmental sustainability, and specific challenges in cabin crew, ab initio, and maintenance technician training. Regulatory developments and the roles of OEMs and industry associations are also key areas of interest.

To propose a presentation, interested parties must complete the online form and provide a 250-300 word abstract, a recorded video of the speaker presenting the abstract or a previous industry presentation, a short biography, and a photo.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, 1st July, 2025. Presentations should be a maximum of 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.

EATS 2025 promises to be an essential gathering for those committed to enhancing aviation safety and operational excellence across Europe.
