The Royal Air Force Air Cadets and the Royal Aeronautical Society have signed a Co-operation Agreement, where cadet graduates of the RAFAC Qualified Aerospace Instructors Course and other scholarships will receive free Affiliate membership of the RAeS.

Professor Susan Durbin and her team have won the ESRC 2022 Celebrating Impact Prize for their research into the under-representation of women in the UK aviation and aerospace industry.
