Simulation Training Boosts Underground Mining Efficiency

Immersive Technologies has delivered measurable safety and efficiency gains in underground mining through targeted simulation-based training. Case studies from mining hubs in Mexico, South America, and Asia have highlighted the results.

In Mexico, Sandvik LH410 operator training reduced safety incidents by 81.82% and cut maintenance hours by 9.19%. A South American contractor onboarding new operators achieved fuel savings of 34% and reduced equipment wear. In Asia, refresher training for more than 250 operators led to a 35% decrease in loader damage and a 27% reduction in truck incidents.
