The latest version of the XVR On Scene platform, XVR 10, enhances immersive emergency training with three new modules: Wildfire Simulation, Emissions Modelling, and Photo Mode. These tools allow fire, police, and medical responders to rehearse complex incidents without real-world risks.
The wildfire module recreates fast-moving vegetation fires with realistic variables like wind, terrain, and fuel load. The emissions model forecasts toxic plume spread, aiding decision-making for evacuations and protective measures. Photo Mode lets trainers capture annotated stills during scenarios for detailed debriefs and evidence retention.
Designed for ease of use on standard hardware, XVR 10 helps agencies increase training frequency, reduce costs, and improve inter-agency coordination. It aims to strengthen decision-making and operational readiness across diverse emergency services.
