Carroll Community College will hold a free Health Care Career Training Information Session on Tuesday, August 20, from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Road Campus, Room M157. Attendees will receive an overview of the college’s non-credit health care career training programs and learn how to be job-ready in as little as two months.

Instructors and program managers will provide insight into high-demand, health care training programs including: assisted living manager, certified nursing assistant, dental assistant, EKG technician, emergency medical technician, medical assistant, medical biller, medical coder, medical transcription editor, medicine aide, pharmacy technician, phlebotomy technician and sterile processing technician.

Attendees can find out about program requirements, class schedules and resources available to help pay for training.
