The Simulators Division in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, opened a new Innovation Lab called the “ Sims Holodeck” as a space to explore, innovate, and prototype the next generation of training technology.

BAE Systems and distributed computing specialists Hadean will work together to explore developing next generation training for the military forces of tomorrow.

This year at IT²EC, which is taking place from 26-28 April, BISim will announce the launch of its new technology product, Mantle ETM, further expanding its range of products for simulation and training. 

SimCentric Technologies’ SAF-TAC virtual training environment has been procured by the Australian Army as part of the Land Simulation Core 2.0 Tranche 1 program.

The Australian Defence Force has awarded a A$17.9M contract to Applied Virtual Simulation.

STARBASE Central Florida officially celebrated its opening at a ribbon cutting in the University of Central Florida Partnership III Building, coming on the evening of its first graduation of the 61 students who completed the program.
