Korean Aerospace University (KAU) has received Dah approval (the equivalent of FAA Level 6) on their Frasca Cessna 172S flight training device (FTD).

This is the first FTD to achieve this level of approval in Korea. The FTD was installed at the Korea Aerospace University Flight Training Center located on Jeju Island in December 2015, and will be used by KAL for initial pilot training.

The FTD features actual G1000 avionics, G700 autopilot, Frasca TruVision™ visual system with 220° x 58° spherical display, actual aircraft cockpit, electrical control loading and comprehensive instructors facility.
