Diamond Aircraft hosted a one-day summit in Wiener Neustadt, Austria on 30 April 2026, gathering airline representatives, fleet operators, and Flight Training Organisations (FTOs) to exchange insights on operational experience, training advancements, and airline-focused pilot training needs.

Representatives from Emirates, airBaltic, KLM, Lufthansa, and Turkish Airlines attended. Discussions covered global pilot demand, the long-term training market outlook, and the role of modern aircraft platforms, simulation, and integrated training systems. Participants also examined the balance between aircraft-based and simulator-based training within MPL and ATPL pathways, and the place of next-generation technologies in future training solutions.

Airlines, training organisations, and manufacturers highlighted the need for closer collaboration to stay aligned with evolving regulatory and market requirements.
