Aviation Firm Welcomes New Apprentice Class

Lufthansa Technik has welcomed 287 new apprentices and dual students across its German locations for the 2026 training and academic year, marking 70 years of vocational training at the company. All available positions were filled this year.

The new apprentices and dual students will begin careers in technical, logistics, and commercial professions, as well as academic programs. Training continues to focus primarily on technical professions, particularly in aircraft maintenance, engine maintenance, electronics, and production technology, complemented by opportunities in logistics, IT, and commercial disciplines.

New trainees are distributed across locations including Hamburg (220), Frankfurt (26), Munich (2), Alzey (20), and Arnstadt (19). Hamburg remains the center of vocational training within the group, with 191 apprentices and 29 dual students.
