ALSIM has launched the AL3X, a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) simulator for flight schools and training organizations.

The simulator is built around the Garmin G3X Touch flight deck and complies with FAA AATD standards. Its flight model uses a Rotax 912 engine and is compatible with LSA platforms including the Tecnam P-Mentor, Pipistrel Alpha Trainer, Sling, Bristell, Van's RV series, and Evektor Harmony.

An optional aircraft parachute system lets pilots rehearse emergency scenarios that cannot be replicated in the aircraft.
