Skyborne has acquired a new CAA-approved Airbus A320 simulator from Netherlands-based Aviatify to enhance its training capacity at its Bournemouth Airport facility.

The FNPT II MCC compliant simulator will give trainees practical A320 flight experience and exposure to immersive flying scenarios. It includes an Instructor Workstation and IOS designed by ProSim-TS, giving instructors tools to monitor and manage training sessions.

Neill Evans, Head of Training, Skyborne, said this is the second simulator installed at the Bournemouth Airport training centre in the past year, and that the A320 simulator gives trainees valuable experience and operational awareness to help prepare them for a flying career.

The training device will offer multi-engine training capabilities for its trainees, in tandem with Skyborne’s Boeing 737 MAX simulator at its recently expanded Gloucestershire Airport base.
