Pilot Training Academy Expands UK Facility for Growing Demand

Skyborne has is expanding its training facility at Gloucestershire Airport (GLO), increasing capacity to meet growing global demand for airline pilots.

The expansion adds hangar space for its aircraft fleet, additional classrooms for ground training, and breakout rooms for trainees and staff. The Gloucestershire facility will work alongside Skyborne's Bournemouth base to deliver UKCAA and EASA Integrated ATPL courses, military conversions, and modular elements of the recently launched Fly First pathway. The expansion will also support growth in instructor, mechanic, and support staff numbers.
