Piper Aircraft has announced three new fleet agreements with flight training organizations.
Piper delivered two Pilot 100i aircraft to Inter American University (IAU) of Puerto Rico, marking the first Pilot 100i delivery outside the continental United States. One of the two aircraft was displayed at the Piper Aircraft exhibit during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. The delivery expands IAU's fleet to 11 aircraft, following the recent addition of a factory-new Seminole.
Piper Aircraft, Inc. and ATP Flight School have entered into a firm fleet order for six new training aircraft, with options for 25 additional aircraft in 2027. Three newly produced Piper Archer TX aircraft will be delivered within 30 days, followed by three Piper Seminoles in 2027. ATP remains the world's largest Piper training fleet operator, using the Archer TX for single-engine training and the Seminole for multi-engine training within its Airline Career Pilot Program.
Piper Aircraft has also welcomed Leading Edge Aviation as the newest European member of the Piper Flight School Alliance. Leading Edge Aviation has entered into a purchase agreement for 10 Piper Archer DX aircraft, with the first delivery completed last month. The Archer DX will serve as the academy's primary single-engine training aircraft.
