Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) is expanding its New Equipment Training (NET) products supporting the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Aviation (PEO Aviation), Project Manager Cargo (PM Cargo) Office. Building on efforts underway since 2017, the latest contract enables ECS to deliver next-generation, immersive training solutions to meet the increased demands of Army aviation and Allied Nation organizations worldwide.

The training expansion is part of a larger effort led by Defense Systems & Solutions (DSS), with ECS serving as lead developer. ECS’s team of subject matter experts, instructional designers, and software developers are concurrently executing development for numerous operator and maintainer target audiences for multiple CH-47F aircraft configurations, including the U.S. Army Block I and Block II, and the Republic of Korea Army CH-47F Block I.

ECS’s comprehensive approach blends technology with real-world applications to promote critical thinking, and comprehension and retention of content learned. NET products comply with U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) standards to ensure aircraft crew members and maintainers learn the new skills and knowledge needed to safely operate and maintain configuration changes to the CH-47F Cargo Helicopter. NET products include high fidelity interactive multimedia instruction (IMI) that is configurable for instructor-led or on-line self-paced modes of instruction to support operational, institutional, and self-paced learning domain requirements.

This training solution strengthens operational readiness across U.S. Army Aviation teams.
ECS will be exhibiting at booth #1414 during the 2025 Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit, May 14–16, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
