Bright Star 25, a multinational military exercise co-hosted by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and the Egyptian Armed Forces, officially began with an opening ceremony at Mohamed Naguib Military Base in Egypt. Running from August 28 to September 10, the exercise aims to enhance collective defense, improve regional security, and reinforce international partnerships.

This year, more than 40 nations are participating, including approximately 1,500 U.S. personnel, engaging in activities such as conventional and irregular warfare training, command post exercises, field training, and joint task force planning. The program also features academic seminars, command and control operations, and a senior leader symposium to foster strategic dialogue.

The exercise continues to strengthen interoperability, refine military capabilities, and align strategic goals across participating nations.
