Indra's Cutting-Edge Simulators Advance Aviation Sustainability

Indra has been awarded as Best Sustainable Future-Oriented Supplier by Airbus Helicopters for developing its flight simulators that provide effective training for crews, cut down on fuel consumption and prevent unnecessary emissions.

The company has delivered more than 400 simulators to around fifty customers in over twenty countries. The systems that offer the highest possible degrees of fidelity and realism are its Level D simulators, which have been certified by the world’s leading aviation and flight safety agencies, including the European EASA, the FAA in the US and the CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China).

The above fidelity means that an hour of flying in one of Indra’s simulators is recognized, as far as the pilot’s training is concerned, as a real hour. The time required to prepare the pilots is therefore improved and safety is increased.
