European Heli Center (EHC) has officially started construction of its new helicopter training center at Lelystad Airport, establishing its European headquarters. The facility will include a REISER-built H135/H145 Level D full-flight simulator, scheduled to be operational in the first quarter of 2027.
The project follows a simulator agreement signed at the VERTICON Show in Dallas and a joint kick-off meeting held in June at REISER’s headquarters in Berg, Bavaria. Construction has now begun at the Lelystad site.
The center is designed to support multi-mission training for EMS, offshore, police, military, and commercial operators. Its location near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport provides accessibility for pilots and training crews from across Europe and beyond.
REISER is developing the next-generation Level D simulator using its roll-on/roll-off platform, allowing switching between H135 and H145 helicopter types.
EHC invites operators and pilots to prepare their future training requirements. The team is available to assist with planning, customized training paths, and logistical coordination ahead of the simulator’s 2027 launch.
