New Modular Simulator to Feature at MFT

RYAN AEROSPACE is inviting attendees of the Military Flight Training (MFT) Conference in San Antonio, Texas, to meet with CEO and founder Chris Ryan. The company has designed, built, and delivered more than 400 virtual and mixed reality flight simulators to the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Army.

Chris Ryan will be available throughout the event to discuss how RYAN AEROSPACE’s simulation technology is supporting defense training programs worldwide and how similar solutions can be adapted for regional needs. 

The company’s Generation 2 Immersive Training Device (ITD) will be highlighted at the event. The ITD builds on the modularity and reconfigurability of earlier designs and includes an electric, fully adjustable seat, customizable pedals, and interchangeable control modules. Each module contains its own power supply, Ethernet switch, and USB hub, allowing aircraft-type changes within minutes using a CAMLOCK system.

The simulator’s integrated 5U PC and UPS system is mounted on telescopic rails for easy maintenance. The device is portable, fits through standard doorways, and includes lockable caster wheels for transport. The same system is also available in rotary-wing configurations, such as the HELIMOD Mark III PLUS+ AH-64 Apache Mission Trainer.
