RYAN AEROSPACE is showcasing its Generation 2 Immersive Training Device (ITD) this week at DSEI Japan, held May 21–23, 2025, in Chiba, Tokyo, Japan. Located at the Australian Pavilion (booth H8-130), the simulator is demonstrated in a generic fast jet configuration using FlexAir by SASimulations, VBS Blue IG for image generation, and the Varjo XR-4 mixed reality headset.
The Gen 2 ITD features a fully electric seat, adjustable control-loaded pedals, a height-adjustable joystick, and a 5U rack-mounted PC system beneath the seat. Its CAMLock system enables quick swaps of aircraft-specific side pods and instrument panels, offering low to high fidelity options.
The U.S. Air Force has recently acquired six T-38 versions of this device through Vertex Solutions, with another 25 units on order.
