An exercise for the Drina Brigade Command is being held this week at the Simulation Training Centre in Belgrade, in line with the Serbian Armed Forces’ territorial forces training plan. Conducted in a simulated environment, the brigade command is practising planning, organizing, and executing defensive operations.
The focus is on training staff officers and non-commissioned officers in military decision-making processes and addressing tactical challenges that may occur during combat. Participants also review the principles of using territorial forces in operations and coordinating with civilian actors.
Computer-supported simulation exercises are an essential part of practical command training in the Serbian Armed Forces. They allow staff officers and commands to enhance their operational planning capabilities and improve unit deployment effectiveness in combat scenarios, all while conserving material resources.
