Transfr, a virtual reality (VR) training company, has partnered with the Associated Equipment Distributors Foundation (AEDF) to tackle labor shortages in the equipment and diesel technology sectors. The initiative integrates VR training into classrooms and community programs, providing students with access to over 330 interactive simulations aligned with 16 career clusters. This partnership helps prepare learners for high-demand fields such as equipment operation and diesel maintenance.

The program combines Transfr’s immersive technology with AEDF’s curriculum standards, offering training without the need for costly equipment. Employers will benefit from candidates trained to AED-recognized standards. This partnership aligns with AEDF’s goal to modernize training and recruitment practices in the equipment industry. According to Transfr CEO Bharani Rajakumar, the collaboration is key to creating new economic opportunities and supporting workforce development in the industry.
