FSC and MPS have entered into a definitive agreement for the delivery of an MPS B737-NG FTD fixed base simulator to FSC at Amsterdam Airport. The FTD will be EASA certified and will be ready for training April 2017.
The device will be equipped with a 200 x 40 FOV collimated visual system and delivered in March 2017, to be installed in FSC's premises which is situated at Amsterdam Airport. Part of the agreement is an option to convert the installed simulator into B737-MAX configuration in due time.
FSC's managing director, Perry Roolvink commented: "To further enhance the total value offering to our customers this first order for an FTD from MPS for the B737-NG marks the introduction of FSC of fixed base simulator equipment to be operated in combination with our fleet of full motion simulators. This provides great opportunities for our customers to practice their manual handling skills and systems knowledge in a realistic training envronment."
