CESDA, the first center in Spain to offer a university degree combined with a commercial pilot’s license from EASA, has purchased an A32 Twin Jet FNPT II MCC simulator from entrol.
The simulator was chosen by a committee in a competitive bid process and will be installed at CESDA’s aeronautical campus in Reus. Students will use it during their 60-hour MCC course, which is the last stage of their four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation Pilot and Air Operations.
The A32 Twin Jet simulator FNPT II MCC is based on the Airbus A320 and features a 180º x 40º cylindrical visual display and a high-resolution database of Spain with satellite imagery. It will be the fourth simulator of the type to be deployed in the country.
Using its new simulator from entrol, CESDA also hopes to provide Jet Orientation which is adjusted to the training requirements of airlines and operators.
