Remote Medical International® (RMI) in Seattle, Washington, a provider of remote medical training and medical support services, is expanding its training offering to provide some courses in a hybrid virtual and traditional classroom format. The addition of the new virtual and physical classroom hybrid model means RMI students will be able to pursue additional medical certifications that were not previously available to them.

In addition to the combination online and onsite curriculum for its Remote Emergency Medical Technician (REMT) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) programs, RMI now also provides Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) training in the hybrid format. RMI acquired the hybrid courses from Northern Cairn LLC, a company that specialized in wilderness medical training.

The onsite portion of the hybrid courses will continue to initially be taught in Petoskey, Michigan, with courses in Washington State to follow by the end of the year. All of the programs are available immediately to RMI's clients seeking private courses at their own locations.
