Medaphor installs first BodyWorks Eve at NYU

MedaPhor, an intelligent ultrasound software and simulation company, installed its first BodyWorks Eve, Point of Care ultrasound (PoCUS) simulator, at NYU School of Medicine’s simulation laboratory of the affiliated Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System New York Campus.

BodyWorks Eve is a female manikin simulator designed for doctors to train in Point of Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) and for teaching PoCUS to medical students, residents and faculty.

With more than 100 real patient scans and more than 10,000 pathology variations across cardiac, lung, transabdominal and pelvic ultrasound, the company says BodyWorks Eve is the most dynamic simulator available for ultrasound scenario training with structured educational content, based on the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM) PoCUS curriculum guidelines.
