Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe will incorporate virtual reality into his training following his first NFL minicamp. Inspired by NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels—who credited VR with helping him excel—Milroe confirmed plans to use the technology to supplement traditional practice and classroom sessions.
VR training allows quarterbacks to run simulated plays, offering mental reps and real-time decision-making practice. Milroe said he and head coach Mike Macdonald discussed using the tool to improve reads and progressions ahead of his NFL debut.
The former Alabama quarterback emphasized the importance of preparation and mastering the playbook, noting that meeting time alone isn't enough. Milroe has already begun studying the system independently, aiming to earn the trust of his new teammates and coaching staff.
