Lucid Reality Labs partnered with the Parkinson’s Foundation to develop a virtual reality boxing simulation aimed at supporting rehabilitation for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Designed for remote use, the experience allows patients to maintain physical activity and social engagement from home—an especially vital option during the pandemic.

The simulation offers users a safe, immersive environment where they can exercise and connect with others living with the same condition. Beyond patient use, the project also serves a research purpose, helping explore how VR can enhance intervention strategies and slow disease progression.

This collaborative effort reflects ongoing innovation in digital health, combining technology with therapeutic needs. By leveraging the capabilities of VR, the initiative supports both physical well-being and community building among users, while contributing valuable insights into Parkinson’s care. Lucid Reality Labs continues to expand its reach across industries, applying immersive technologies to healthcare, education, entertainment, and live event broadcasting.
